Christmas Toy Appeal

Wednesday 11th November 2009
Sayers The Bakers, together with Real Radio and Fostering Solutions are running a huge appeal to raise thousands of toys for underprivileged children from the North West this Christmas.

Sayers, the North West’s favourite bakers, is running the Christmas Toy Appeal over the next five weeks, with each of their 150 Sayers and Hampsons shops in the region acting as drop-off points for children’s gifts. All the gifts collected will then be donated to various children’s charities in time for Christmas.

Lorna Culican from Sayers commented: “It’s great to think about the smiles that will be brought to so many children’s faces thanks to the Sayers Christmas Toy Appeal. I am so proud to be part of it. I’m sure that people will come and show their Christmas spirit this year by donating a present to our Christmas Toy Appeal; it really doesn't matter how big or small.”

During this season of goodwill, Sayers is encouraging members of the public to buy one extra Christmas present and pass it on to staff at their local Sayers and Hampsons shop.
