World's Smallest Cupcake?

Thursday 17th September 2009
Sayers are celebrating National Cupcake Week by creating what must be one of the world’s smallest cupcakes. The week-long extravaganza runs from the 14th-21st September and celebrates the exciting cupcake toppings and flavours available for this very special bakery product.

A Guinness Book of Records entry for the World’s Smallest Cupcake has never been recorded so surely the Sayers version will be a good contender. The smallest cupcake attempt took just 30 minutes to make. It contains less than one egg and is only 3cm in height and 1.5cm in diameter.

In addition to creating such a small cupcake, Sayers and Hampsons are celebrating the week by launching their tasty full size cupcakes across all their stores and with four mouth-watering flavours there is one to suit every taste.

National Cupcake Week takes place for only one week each year, so why not treat yourself to a delicious and affordable cupcake by visiting your local Sayers or Hampsons this week? Go for the Chocolate cupcake with its mouth-watering chocolate fudge butter cream and chocolate curl topping; or Lemon with its citrus tang and finishing touch of sugar hearts; enjoy the deliciously fruity Strawberry variety, topped with a decorative sugar butterfly, or indulge in a creamy Vanilla option, finished with pink and white sprinkles.
