St George's Day Celebrations
Sayers Shows Its Patriotic Side

On Friday 23rd April, staff at the recently refurbished Sayers shop on Bridge Street in Chester showed great patriotism by celebrating St George's Day in style.
They decorated the shop with St George’s Day flags and balloons and even called in the Town Crier of Chester to start the special day on a regal footing to entertain the crowds. Meanwhile, the shop sold limited edition St George's Day biscuits and ran special offers throughout the day.
Sayers also made a huge special St George's Flag cake which was presented to the winner of the St George’s Day Medieval Tournament, hosted by the Lord Mayor of Chester.
